Moonrise Health is now operating as Rainbow Roots Neurodiversity Clinic

Our Approach
Whole-person care that begins with acceptance, guided by curiosity, and focused on helping children and families thrive.
If You're Here...
There's a good chance something isn't working right now.
โ
Families often come to Rainbow Roots because they're looking for answers, navigating a new diagnosis, or trying to make everyday life feel more manageable...

The Foundation of Our Care

Children are never the problem to be fixed.
Every child deserves to be respected, affirmed, and supported for who they are.โโ
โโ
โ
โ

Every struggle deserves curiosity before conclusions.
โ
We look beyond behaviors to understand what may be contributing to a child's challenges.โ

Acceptance and action belong together
โ
Affirming your child as they are means also addressing the things that make life harder.โโโ

Understanding should lead to practical support.
โ
Familes deserve more than explanations. They deserve realistic strategies that make everyday life more manageable. โโโ

Reducing unnecessary suffering helps families thrive.โ
โ
โOur goal is to reduce barriers, strengthen connection, and improve quality of life.โโ
Looking Beyond the Surface
We start with the whole child
Every child is more than a diagnosis. We consider development, physical health, sleep, nutrition, communication, sensory experiences, emotional well-being, identity, school, family, and environment because these pieces influence one another.
We look for the "why"
Behaviors are often communication. Rather than asking, "How do we stop this?" we ask, "What is this child trying to tell us?" Together, we expolore the factors contributing to challenges so that support is thoughtful, individualized, and meaningful.
We partner with families
Parents know their children best. Our role is to bring medical knowledge, clinical experience, and curiosity alongside your expertise to develop practical plans that fit your family's real life.

Meet Dr. Brandy
Brandy Ross, ND, LM

Throughout my career, I've learned that families rarely come looking for a diagnosis. They come because something isn't working, and they're hoping someone will take the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help them find a path forward.
After graduating from Bastyr University with degrees in Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Naturopathic Midwifery, I spent nearly two decades caring for children and families through pediatrics, primary care, and midwifery. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to helping families who were searching for answers-and looking for someone who would take the time to truly understand their child.
โ
Today, my practice focuses on neurodivergent and gender-diverse youth because this is the work that keeps me curious and continually learning. I enjoy helping families better understand the "why" behind their child's challenges and then working together to develop practical solutions that make everyday life more manageable. Whether that's through comprehensive evaluations, ongoing medical care, or exploring contributing factors that others may have overlooked, my goal is to provide thoughtful, collaborative care that meets each child where they are.
โ
I don't believe any one person has all the answers, which is why I continue to pursue advanced training and learn from colleagues, researchers, and—perhaps most importantly—the families I have the privilege of caring for.
